If you are searching for convenient hotels for your canal or river walk, why not consider joining us on board hotelboat Tranquil Rose. Tranquil Rose is an established hotelboat offering accommodation and holidays on the rivers and canals of Southern England. The concept of the holidays is simple. Whilst you enjoy walking the towpaths and surrounding countryside, we will provide for your creature comforts at the end of each day; a good drying area, comfortable accommodation and a hot shower, followed by a three course evening meal served in our large saloon with its warming stove and fully licensed bar. After your meal, relax and recharge your batteries as you compare notes and discuss the following day’s routes with your fellow guests. After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, you will be ready to set off, fully refreshed, taking with you a freshly prepared pack lunch. Of course there may be an occasion when you would like a “day off”. No problem, just sit back and enjoy the views, as we cruise towards our new moorings for the following evening.     Our walking holidays operate throughout October (and into November if requested). We follow the Thames Path from Lechlade to Teddington and visit the Wey Navigation, a beautiful waterway in the heart of Surrey. We can accommodate groups of up to eight guests in the two double, one twin and two single cabins, but if you are fewer in number, we will try to combine your holiday with another group of walkers.     If you are interested in joining us, please contact us for more details.
